Payroll and Production Clerk Position Features Straight Day shift. Immediate need for payroll and production clerk. Day shift 8am to 4:30pm. Position Summary The Payroll & Production Clerk will have responsibility for payroll processing; accounts payable interaction with invoicing, receiving and purchase request creation using Maximo and Coupa (training to be provided); production reporting; inventory reporting; and supplier communication. This position will report to the Plant Manager. Duties and Responsibilities Assist with all weekly payroll duties including verification of hours and processing weekly payroll in internal systems (Attendance Enterprise and Hourly Detail Pay – training will be provided). Track vacations and personal holidays for hourly employees. Onboard new hires and maintain personnel spreadsheets and files. Post bid sheets for openings for hourly positions. Coordinate and track issuance of safety boot slips and authorization forms for prescription safety glasses. Issue purchase requests. Receive packing lists and timesheets using internal systems (Maximo and Coupa – training will be provided). Resolve invoicing issues in a timely manner using internal systems (Maximo and Coupa). Maintain onsite contractor services including timecard/timesheet approvals using the internal system (Contractor Timekeeping System – training will be provided). Prepare headcount reports. Perform new vendor onboarding and maintain updates/changes within Coupa. Required Skills and Qualifications Support and adhere to plant standards for safety, quality, productivity, reliability, environmental stewardship, and service. Detail oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Excellent communication (spoken and written), listening, and teamwork skills. Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and a desire to enhance skills through education and training for other computer programs.
