Claims Representative III, Property (Liability) Join the Co‑operators, a leading Canadian financial services co‑operative, and help deliver on our mission of sustaining a resilient society. This role, available in a hybrid work model, supports our Claims team in providing peace of mind to clients and communities. Responsibilities Investigate, interpret coverage, and negotiate and settle large and complex property claims for Personal, Commercial, and Farm policies. Review and analyze legal documents, including statements of claims, affidavits, and expert reports, and develop actionable strategies for case resolution. Collaborate with legal counsel, experts, and mediators to defend and facilitate third‑party loss settlements. Support teammates through coaching and mentoring conversations. Provide exceptional client and claimant service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, contributing to industry‑leading engagement. Qualifications & Experience Five years of residential and/or commercial adjusting experience, including liability and total‑loss property claims. Post‑secondary degree or diploma. Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation. Provincial adjuster licence(s) for the Atlantic provinces (or willingness to obtain). Knowledge of property policy wordings, regulations, and construction practices. How You’ll Succeed Innovative mindset focused on improving operational efficiencies and client satisfaction. Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, during peak periods. Direct contact with clients and service providers in their environments. Salary Expected salary range $72,847 to $121,411. Salary is determined at discretion of Co‑operators and may vary by factors such as market conditions, geography, experience, education, and performance.
