Advanced Practice Clinical Leader – Crisis Critical Care Join to apply for the Advanced Practice Clinical Leader – Crisis Critical Care role at CAMH. We are seeking a full‑time, temporary (six‑month) Advanced Practice Clinical Leader in the Clinical Care Program (CCC3) who will report to the Senior Clinical Director of Adult Inpatient and Psychosis Recovery and Treatment Outpatient Services. The successful candidate will support point‑of‑care staff in the implementation and evaluation of best practices for assessment, individual and group treatment for patients with acute psychiatric illnesses and concurrent substance use disorders. Job Description The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Program leadership team to support inpatient point‑of‑care teams and models of care. They will role‑model clinical practice in complex care situations, engage in direct care activities for complex and high‑risk clients, lead development of the program’s group programming, support interprofessional collaborative care, academic and research opportunities, promote the implementation and audit of documentation standards, and participate in or facilitate quality improvement projects and quality reviews focusing on patient safety. They will also supervise graduate students and participate in program planning and evaluation, supporting integrated clinical resources at both the program‑level and organizational level for inpatient and outpatient services. The role supports a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements. This position provides support to clinical teams at the Queen Street Site and outpatient settings in the community. Job Requirements The successful candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in Nursing and be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in mental health and addiction treatment is required. Applicants must demonstrate an understanding of the complex psychiatric and physical health needs of this clinical population. Additional qualifications such as CNA certification in psychiatric/mental health or other relevant certification are an asset. Eligibility for cross‑appointment at the University of Toronto is also required. The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to provide professional practice leadership, challenge and motivate others, commit to enhancing academic and research endeavours, lead change, and provide advanced clinical care in a culturally diverse environment. Previous advanced practice, administrative or academic scholarship is an asset. Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, teaching and computer skills are required. Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language is considered an asset. #J-18808-Ljbffr
