GSM Depot has been a leading distributor since 2008. Our focus is sourcing products related to consumer electronics, home & kitchen, and power tools. Our strength relies on transferring our knowledge and strategizing on finding a home for these goods within different markets worldwide through B2B and B2C markets.


GSM Depot is looking for an experienced Ecommerce Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Driving the sales performance of the e-commerce platform (amazon, Ebay, Walmart, Shopify)
  • Managing and executing promotional campaigns.
  • Providing insights on customer shopping trends to support assortment selection and identify assortment gaps.
  • Ensuring good customer service by addressing and ensuring the timely resolution of customer issues or comments.
  • Working closely with demand planning and warehousing teams in order to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department, new product sell-through, and offering code performance.


Experience with Shopify

  • Familiar with building and customizing Shopify stores, including themes, apps, and integrations.
  • Experience managing product listings, inventory, pricing, and variations in Shopify.
  • Knowledge in setting up payment methods, taxes, shipping rates, and handling compliance issues.
  • Experience with using Shopify’s analytics to track performance, sales trends, and customer behaviors.


Digital Marketing Expertise

  • Proficiency in running Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other ad campaigns to drive traffic.
  • Expertise in tools like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Shopify Email for customer engagement, nurturing, and retention.
  • Knowledge in optimizing product pages, content, and blog posts for organic search visibility.
  • Experience managing Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or Instagram Ads, and optimizing campaigns for ROI.
  • Ability to create compelling content (videos, blog posts, and images) that engages customers and aligns with the brand’s voice.


Analytics & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Ability to analyze website data (Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, etc.) to identify opportunities for growth and improve conversion rates.
  • Experience conducting tests on product pages, checkout processes, and ad campaigns to optimize performance.
  • Ability to build and optimize a sales funnel, from awareness to purchase.


Technical Proficiency

  • Understands and supports for of the importance of site speed and has the skill to implement optimizations.
  • App Integration: Knowledge of popular Shopify apps and plugins that improve store functionality (e.g., for inventory management, marketing, etc.).
  • Ability to identify technical issues that affect store performance and resolve them.


Communication & Project Management

  • Support in explaining strategies, results, and issues in a simple, clear manner.
  • Project Management: Experience with tools like Trello, Asana, or Monday.com to track tasks and deadlines.


E-commerce Strategy & Business Knowledge

  • Able to help you define our brand’s unique value proposition and develop strategies to differentiate your store.
  • Customer Insights: Experience in understanding and segmenting customer behavior to tailor marketing strategies.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in the Canadian market.
  • Strong understanding of cultural, economic, and business dynamics across Canada.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

GSM Depot est à la recherche d'un Ecommerce Manager spécialisé.


Responsabilités principales

  • Piloter les performances de vente de la plateforme e-commerce (amazon, Ebay, Walmart, Shopify).
  • Gérer et exécuter des campagnes promotionnelles.
  • Fournir des informations sur les tendances d'achat des clients afin de soutenir la sélection de l'assortiment et d'identifier les lacunes de l'assortiment.
  • Assurer un bon service à la clientèle en abordant et en veillant à la résolution rapide des problèmes ou des commentaires des clients.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de planification de la demande et d'entreposage afin d'assurer une exécution sans faille des commandes.
  • Fournir des analyses et des rapports sur des paramètres tels que les ventes hebdomadaires/mensuelles par rayon, la vente de nouveaux produits et la performance des codes d'offre.


Expérience avec Shopify

  • Familiarité avec la création et la personnalisation de boutiques Shopify, y compris les thèmes, les applications et les intégrations.
  • Expérience de la gestion des listes de produits, de l'inventaire, des prix et des variations dans Shopify.
  • Connaissance de la mise en place des méthodes de paiement, des taxes, des tarifs d'expédition et de la gestion des problèmes de conformité.
  • Expérience de l'utilisation des outils d'analyse de Shopify pour suivre les performances, les tendances des ventes et les comportements des clients.


Expertise en stratégie de marché digital

Analyse et optimisation du taux de conversion (CRO)

  • Capacité à analyser les données du site web (Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, etc.) afin d'identifier les opportunités de croissance et d'améliorer les taux de conversion.
  • Expérience dans la réalisation de tests sur les pages produits, les processus de paiement et les campagnes publicitaires afin d'optimiser les performances.
  • Capacité à construire et optimiser un entonnoir de vente, de la prise de conscience à l'achat.


Compétences techniques

  • Comprend et soutient l'importance de la vitesse du site et possède les compétences nécessaires pour mettre en œuvre des optimisations.
  • Intégration d'applications : Connaissance des applications et plugins populaires de Shopify qui améliorent les fonctionnalités de la boutique (par exemple, pour la gestion des stocks, le marketing, etc.)
  • Capacité à identifier les problèmes techniques qui affectent les performances de la boutique et à les résoudre.


Communication et gestion de projet

  • Expliquer les stratégies, les résultats et les problèmes de manière simple et claire.
  • Gestion de projet : Expérience de l'utilisation d'outils tels que Trello, Asana ou Monday.com pour le suivi des tâches et des échéances.


Stratégie de commerce électronique et connaissances commerciales
