DOO Studio is looking for an eCommerce Copywriter.

Reporting to the Content Adaptation Team Lead in the DOO Studio, your role is to create high-quality and engaging product descriptions, marketing copy and website content that drive conversions. You will work on a variety of projects with a dynamic team of project coordinators and in-house creative talents. Your role is to be a key contributor to the organization's vision to scale our internal creative services to provide agility and efficiency to this growing department.

**YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Write product descriptions that effectively communicate the features, benefits, and unique selling points for our product and brands: Ski-doo, Sea-Doo and Can-Am.

Write copy with a consumer-centric mindset and optimize for search engines and user experience.

Take part in the creative process in tandem with an ecommerce graphic designer, working hand in hand to create marketing copy that pairs well with the graphics.

Work efficiently in collaboration with eCommerce project coordinators and internal clients through the revision process and project deliverables.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously with ease, efficiency and a focus on deadlines.

P rovide insights and recommendations on industry copywriting trends.

Efficiently archive produced content.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Advanced speaking, writing and proofreading skills in English. Bilingualism would be an asset (English and French).

A bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience as an ecommerce copywriter, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.

A self-starter with a passion for writing and exceptional writing and editing skills, able to write in a variety of styles and tones with a strong understanding of digital marketing.

Strong understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to keyword search and write copy that is optimized for search engines.

Knowledge of ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento would be an asset.

Strong attention to detail with a mindset of always improving the customer experience through content.

A highly collaborative and team player attitude, and a flexible and dynamic personality that thrives in a growing department.

Good interpersonal and communication skills to work alongside other creatives (Graphic Design/translation) and build a strong relationship with eCommerce Content Project Coordinators.

Strong attention to detail, aiming to deliver quality content at all stages of a project, with a mind open to feedback and the ability to quickly adapt copy accordingly.

The ability to work independently with mínimal oversight in the writing process.

Effective time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills with a focus on keeping deadlines.
