We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Advisor to join BrokerLink and work out of our St. John’s, NL or Marystown, NL office on a permanent full‑time basis. Benefits Flexible health and dental insurance benefits package Personal spending amount to invest in your healthy lifestyle RRSP with company matching Employee Share Purchase Plan with matching aspect Dress‑for‑your‑day policy Competitive compensation package with bonus Employee discount program (Apple, Bell, Rogers, etc.) Paid Time Off: personal days, volunteer days, exam/study time, jury duty, starting at 3 weeks of vacation per year Recognized as one of Canada’s best employers (Kincentric 2024) Responsibilities Service Independent Business Unit accounts and write new business Provide prompt customer service: advise, explain insurance, address concerns Review and process incoming commercial paperwork Assist with quotes, write new business, review coverage, update customer files Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications, issue certificates Manage endorsements and follow up on paymentsCommunicate with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters, renew terms, follow up on claims Source and obtain additional information requested by underwriters Qualifications High School Diploma and/or Post‑Secondary Education Two or more years of customer service experience 2–3 years of insurance experience Valid insurance license for the Province of Newfoundland or willingness to obtain one Exposure to EPIC is an asset Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Job Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Sales and Business Development Industries: Insurance We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
