The Opportunity We’re expanding our Commercial Insurance division and are seeking a Commercial Risk and Insurance Advisor with a proven track record in business-to-business sales. This role is designed for a driven, entrepreneurial professional who thrives on building relationships, developing new business, and creating solutions that have a genuine impact. Salary Range $65,000 - $100,000 commensurate with experience and proven network of clients What You’ll Do Generate new commercial insurance clients and revenue through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building. Identify opportunities within targeted industries (construction, trades, service, retail, professional sectors, etc.) and develop tailored risk solutions. Lead client discovery meetings to understand business operations, exposures, and insurance needs. Work closely with our internal service team to deliver seamless onboarding and client support. Act as a trusted business advisor to clients, helping them identify, manage, and mitigate risk. Meet or exceed defined sales and activity targets. What You’ll Bring A proven track record of success in B2B sales. A self-starter mentality - disciplined, goal-oriented, and energized by achieving measurable results. Strong business acumen and the ability to understand how organizations operate and make decisions. Excellent communication and relationship skills - you build rapport quickly and with authenticity. A “can-do” attitude - you’re proactive, resilient, and don’t wait for opportunities to come to you. Comfortable with networking, cold calling, and face-to-face prospecting. Working Conditions & Environment Working hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday with a 1-hour lunch. Work is primarily conducted in an office setting and may go beyond regular office hours to meet deadlines and address urgent matters. This role may involve occasional travel.
