Senior Account Executive - North AmericaAkur8 is a young, dynamic, fast growing Insurtech scale-up transforming insurance pricing and reserving with transparent machine learning. Our SaaS platform leverages transparent machine learning and predictive analytics to improve insurers’ pricing and reserving processes. We’ve developed AI algorithms that automate pricing and reserving, enabling models that are faster and more predictive than traditional methods, with next-generation reserving features and an end-to-end platform that anticipates future claims.Akur8 has been recognized in industry lists and has an international presence with 42 nationalities across 8 major cities. We serve over 320 clients across 4 continents and focus on mature markets for faster growth. This role is part of the North America sales team and focuses on developing our presence with large and mid-sized enterprise accounts.We are looking to hire 2 Senior Account Executives to join the North America team. You will be accountable for net new recurring revenue on your named accounts and will drive revenue growth for Akur8 in North America.ResponsibilitiesOwn a revenue target that contributes to North America and company objectivesSecure net new logosEnsure strong brand recognition across your named account listIdentify, prospect, and engage decision-makers for a named list of accountsDevelop account plans and territory strategies to achieve and exceed sales targetsManage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to discovery, RFIs/RFPs, contract negotiation with a focused cadenceLead in-depth discovery sessions to understand client challenges and objectivesPresent compelling value propositions and adapt to audiences from users to executivesAct as a strategic advisor, sharing industry trends and best practicesCollaborate with pre-sales and product teams to tailor solutionsMaintain accurate records of account activities in CRM and report on insightsQualifications & Requirements6+ years of professional experience in sales or new business developmentExperience in a high-growth B2B technology companyBachelor’s degree or higher preferredTrack record of meeting or exceeding quotaExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with experience selling to senior executivesStrong business acumen and ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomesAbility to build effective and actionable account strategyFamiliarity with SaaS processes, CRMs, Slack, and cross-team collaborationExperience working with technical teams in a global companyEmpathetic, humble, trustworthy with strong analytical and planning capabilitiesFlexible and adaptable; comfortable handling multiple topicsExcellent verbal and written communication; comfortable in multilingual and multicultural environmentsExperience in SAAS, cloud architecture, API/integration, IT project delivery, and insurance industry is a plusMust have employment status allowing work from our Montreal officeBenefitsCompetitive salary + annual bonusHealth, Dental and Vision insuranceRetirement savings plans25 days of PTO/yearCommuter benefitGym membership via ClassPassIT equipment allowanceProfessional development and trainingsTeam events and gatheringsLocation: Montreal, Quebec, CanadaCA$70,000.00 - CA$130,000.00Note: Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at AKUR8.
