A talented and creative Content & Ads Manager to join our growing D2C produce delivery startup as Employee #4. You will play a critical role in building brand awareness, driving customer acquisition, and establishing our presence across social media platforms in the Greater Toronto Area. As an early employee, you'll have the opportunity to shape our brand identity and growth strategy from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for creating compelling content that resonates with our target audience, managing our social media presence, and executing paid advertising campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention. Content Strategy & Creation You will develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with our business goals. This includes planning and creating engaging content across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), designing editorial calendars, and ensuring consistent brand messaging. You'll collaborate with team members to produce high-quality visual and written content that tells our brand story, showcases our products, and builds community engagement. Social Media Management You will manage and grow our social media presence across all platforms, creating and scheduling posts that drive engagement and build brand loyalty. This includes monitoring comments, messages, and mentions to foster community engagement, responding to customer inquiries, and leveraging social media trends to amplify our reach. You'll stay current with algorithm changes and platform best practices to maximize organic visibility. Paid Advertising & Campaign Management You will develop, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram). This includes managing advertising budgets, conducting A/B testing to improve performance, analyzing campaign metrics, and continuously refining targeting and creative elements to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS). Performance Analytics & Optimization You will establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all marketing channels, analyzing web traffic metrics, social media analytics, and advertising performance data. Regular reporting and analysis will inform strategy adjustments and budget allocation decisions. Brand Consistency & Community Building You will ensure all content and advertising assets align with our brand values, visual identity, and messaging guidelines. You'll work to build a strong community, encouraging customer feedback and stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity. Cross-Functional Collaboration You will work closely with our founding team to collaborate on product launches, seasonal campaigns, and special promotions. You'll also coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure marketing messaging accurately reflects our service and customer experience. What skills do you need? Core Competencies You should have proven experience creating engaging social media content and managing advertising campaigns. Proficiency with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and paid advertising platforms like Meta Ads Manager is essential. You must be comfortable with analytics tools and data interpretation. Technical Skills Experience with content management systems, social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, etc.), and analytics platforms (Meta Business Suite) is required. Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Soft Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is strong attention to detail and project management ability. You should be creative and able to think strategically about brand positioning and customer acquisition.
