Overview (School-Based, After-School Program) We’re Hiring: Youth Reflection & Restorative Support Facilitator Location: Mississauga, ON (L5N 5R1) – In person Schedule: Weekdays, 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM Organization: Oneness Education Foundation About This Role We are seeking a Youth Reflection & Restorative Support Facilitator to support students in a school-based after-school setting. This role is designed to strengthen accountability, self-regulation, reflection, and reintegration into learning through structured, restorative, and culturally responsive approaches. The focus of this position is practical youth support, not punishment or enforcement. The facilitator works closely with school administration to guide students through reflection, goal-setting, and skill-building following behavioural or adjustment challenges. Role Focus Supporting youth through structured reflection and restorative processes Helping students regulate emotions, take responsibility, and reset behaviour Providing culturally responsive guidance for students from immigrant and minority communities Supporting positive reintegration into classroom learning This role aligns with preventative and restorative practices used in Ontario schools and community programs. Key Responsibilities Facilitate structured reflection sessions with youth Guide students through accountability, problem-solving, and goal-setting activities Support students experiencing behavioural, social, or emotional challenges Use restorative and relationship-based approaches Maintain brief, professional session notes as required Collaborate with school administration and program leads Contribute to a calm, respectful, and supportive after-school environment Required Qualifications Diploma or degree in Community & Justice Services, Child & Youth Care, Social Services, or a related field Experience working directly with youth or young adolescents Experience working with immigrant, newcomer, or minority communities Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with youth Strong Assets Lived experience within immigrant or minority communities Multilingual abilities (Arabic, Urdu, or other languages are an asset) Experience with restorative practices, youth mentorship, or school-based programs Understanding of culturally responsive and trauma-informed approaches Additional Requirements Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (required prior to start) Ability to work in person in Mississauga (L5N 5R1) Availability during after-school hours (3:30–5:30 PM) Why This Role Matters This position plays a key role in: Supporting youth before behaviours escalate Promoting accountability with dignity Strengthening school-community collaboration Providing meaningful guidance rooted in understanding, structure, and care How to Apply Interested candidates may apply through LinkedIn with a resume and a brief note describing their experience working with youth and diverse communities.
