TalentWorld is recruiting a Help Desk Specialist (French Bilingual) in Montreal, Quebec for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to internal and external customers via telephone, email, chat, and self-service portal.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, software applications, and peripherals.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support or other relevant teams as necessary.
- Document all customer interactions, including issue details and resolution steps, in the incident tracking system.
- Follow established processes and procedures for incident management and service request fulfillment.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the knowledge base by documenting new solutions and best practices.
- Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to stay current on technology trends and support processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance the overall customer experience.
- Adhere to security policies and protocols to protect sensitive customer data and company assets.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a help desk or service desk environment.
- Fluent in both oral and written French language skills.
- Possession of a Protected B or Reliability security clearance is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including 1 evening shift (start time 2:00 pm to 9:59 pm) and 1 night shift (start time 10:00 pm to 4:59 am).
- Salary: $20.00HR - $24.65HR
- Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Contract, Full-Time, Remote
- Schedule: Evening and Overnight Shifts available.
- Other: Career growth, 4 months contract, possibility of extension
