Sr In-Force Policy Service Associate

Join to apply for the Sr In-Force Policy Service Associate (bilingual) - Contract role at Canada Life. Temporary Full Time – Contract position for individuals with a keen analytical mindset and strong communication skills. Accountabilities Provide first‑rate customer service to policy owners, advisors/brokers, Living Benefits managers, accountants, lawyers, financial institutions and Head Office departments. Provide technical/contractual information and direction by interpreting contractual policy provisions, tax regulations, existing guidelines and system processes. Handle requests received by email and over the phone. Consult with senior peers where necessary to develop satisfactory solutions. Accurately administer contractual and non‑contractual changes. Ensure proper authorizations are received, accurate calculations are done, and system records are updated when processing changes and quotes. Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of current and historical Living Benefits products. Provide input to leaders to improve workflow, processes and procedures. Consistently meet or exceed established standards for production and quality. Accurately index and triage incoming and completed work into the OnBase workflow system. Contribute to special assignments or projects in support of departmental goals. Qualifications and competencies Bilingualism (fluent in English and French) required; position regularly serves clients with English and French needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Self‑motivated and able to handle a challenging and demanding workload. Demonstrated customer service skills. Proven ability to learn new concepts quickly with high attention to detail. Excellent math and problem‑solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment. Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment and discretion. Willingness to pursue learning and self‑development through corporate and industry‑related courses. Highly organized with excellent time‑management skills. Post‑secondary diploma in a related field is an asset. The base salary for this position is between $40,300.00 minimum and $67,000.00 maximum annually. This represents base salary only and does not include other variable compensation components such as bonus or commission.
