Position Summary The Senior Drapery Sales Manager is a key member of the Premium Drapery Team, responsible for driving revenue growth, elevating client experience, and supporting the strategic development of the premium drapery division. This role blends high‑level sales expertise, creative problem‑solving, and strong operational collaboration to ensure exceptional project execution. The Senior Drapery Sales Manager owns all key premium drapery accounts, acting as the primary relationship lead and ensuring an elevated, high‑touch client experience. Occasional onsite presence at installations will be required to support strategic accounts, oversee premium execution, and maintain alignment between sales commitments and operational delivery. Working closely with the Premium Drapery Operations Team and cross‑functional teams, this role oversees complex premium drapery projects from concept through completion while contributing to long‑term product, process, and revenue strategies. Key Responsibilities Lead client consultations, prepare detailed proposals, and quote custom premium drapery solutions for venue, tent, and specialty installations. Own key accounts, serve as the primary point of contact, and foster strong relationships with planners, venues, and strategic partners. Conduct site visits and walkthroughs to assess requirements, gather measurements, and provide expert recommendations. Present design concepts and collaborate with clients to bring their vision to life through tailored premium drapery and décor solutions. Secure client deposits and ensure all contract details are accurately captured in POR. Represent Element Event Solutions at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements to build strategic relationships and elevate brand presence. Provide onsite support for major installations when needed to strengthen relationships and ensure premium delivery standards. Oversee the execution of large‑scale or complex premium installations, attending onsite when necessary to uphold client expectations and ensure flawless delivery. Troubleshoot challenges quickly and effectively, providing solutions that protect timelines, safety, and design integrity. Coordinate with logistics, tenting, and event rental teams to align drapery requirements with broader event plans. Schedule deliveries, pickups, and production timelines with relevant internal departments when necessary. Operational Collaboration Partner closely with the Premium Drapery Operations Lead to translate sales commitments into executable plans that align with production capabilities. Participate in pre‑production meetings to review design intent, installation requirements, and timelines. Provide accurate, detailed job specifications to enable efficient labor planning and inventory allocation. Review final job files and installation plans for accuracy prior to production. Strategic & Departmental Support Collaborate with the Premium Drapery Operations Lead to implement strategies that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation within the division. Support the development of annual budgets and revenue plans. Oversee the purchasing of premium drapery fabrics and related equipment to support custom client requests, while also identifying assortment gaps and recommending new products or product lines that drive growth in event draping sales. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to process, safety, inventory, and client experience. Uphold and reinforce premium brand standards across proposals, presentations, and installed work. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in event sales, production design, drapery, or a related field. Proven track record in revenue generation and key account management. Strong understanding of tenting, venue logistics, and large‑scale event production. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to read floorplans, conduct onsite assessments, and translate client concepts into actionable plans. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and project management capabilities. Ability to work flexible hours as required by event schedules.
