They provide a one-stop‑shop accounting and tax solution with a hands‑on approach.They are currently looking to add a technologically inclined and entrepreneurial Manager with a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence. You will be involved in all accounting work (assurance, tax, audit, advisory) with an opportunity to lead the Audit division and be involved in all audits and reviews.As #4 in the company, you will report to the 3 Partners and have opportunity to grow into a leadership role at the firm. You’ll work with a mix of clients across different industries such as manufacturing, real estate, non-profit, education, financial services, and tech start-ups.If you're looking for career growth plus a Partnership opportunity down the road, this role might be a good fit.This is a full-time, permanent role.Your Responsibilities (but not limited to)Complete audit and review engagements for both for-profit and not-for-profit entitiesHelp manage the teamPrepare personal, corporate tax, and GST/HST returnsPrepare payroll and government‑related remittances and filings including, but not limited to, T4’s and T5’sCorrespond with the Canada Revenue Agency regarding client mattersRequirementsExperience working in a Canadian public accounting firmExpert level in QBO and QBDStrong Canadian accounting knowledgeExperience using accounting and tax software such as TaxPrep, TaxCycle or Profile, Caseware and Caseview, TaxPrep Forms, Quickbooks, Microsoft OfficeLive in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and legally able to work full-time for any Canadian employerCPA (Canada)Min. 4 years experience completing audit and reviews for private companies & non‑profits (ASPE, ASNPO)At least 1 year management experienceOwnership mentality – see things through to the endStrong communicator – manage timelines, issues, be a face to the clientStrong leader – able to effectively manage a teamCompensation and benefitsVery competitive salary (up to $160k)BonusCompany eventsDental careExtended health careLife insuranceFridays off (July & Aug)Schedule8 hour shift, M‑FWork LocationHybrid (3 days in office) in Richmond Hill, ON (Leslie and Hwy 7 area) #J-18808-Ljbffr
