Join to apply for the Diagnostic Imaging Technologist 2 - Specialty role at The Ottawa Hospital Position Information This position is for Interventional Radiology. The role requires rotations at the Civic and General campus. Rotation/Shifts Days, evenings and nights, including weekends, 8 hour shifts. Must be available for stand by and call back. Basic Requirements Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario; Three (3) years previous related experience; Eligible for Certification in CPR; Ability to operate relevant equipment and software for imaging, non imaging and patient care applications; Ability to perform Diagnostic Imaging procedures to professional standards; Ability to assist in invasive procedures; Knowledge of septic and aseptic techniques; Good written and verbal communication skills; Good interpersonal skills; Ability to multi-task; Good problem solving skills; Must be eligible to work in Canada. Preferred Qualifications Eligible for registration of Interventional Radiology Certificate; Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
