OverviewJob Summary: The Extracts Technician operates within the Extraction Department, reporting to the Extraction Manager. Responsibilities include dilution, material preparation, edible product manufacturing, preventative maintenance, machine operation, documentation, and cleaning of equipment and workspace. This posting is to backfill an existing position. Location: Fenwick, ON; on-site.Roles and ResponsibilitiesPreparing material for edible production activitiesManufacturing products to ensure that they meet quality expectationsOperating large-scale edible production equipmentPerforming dilution or mixing activitiesMaintaining and sanitizing processing equipment and workspaceDocumenting processing, maintenance, and sanitation activitiesComplying with Occupational Health and Safety ActFollowing Quality Assurance standard operating proceduresCompleting other assigned duties as neededQualifications and Education RequirementsMust be legally entitled to work in CanadaMust have High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to operate machinery or industrial equipmentMinimum 1 year of production-related experienceAttention to detail in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift 50 lbs on a regular basisAbility to stand/walk for extended periods up to 3 hours or moreAbility to take direction and follow all company policies/proceduresExperience with high and low temperature, pressurized equipment, or in the Cannabis industry is considered an assetPay: $19.00/hrTilray welcomes applications from all qualified individuals and is committed to employment equity and diversity in the workplace.
