Base Pay Range CA$70,000.00/yr - CA$75,000.00/yr Location Victoria, British Columbia, Canada (Hybrid – office 3 days/week) Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Quality Assurance Industries Software Development Responsibilities Acquire comprehensive knowledge of Delivra’s products and services. Test software manually and via automation to uphold a high standard of quality. Develop and maintain automated tests and scripts to sustain software quality. Resolve test automation infrastructure issues promptly and efficiently, minimizing disruption. Build, research and evolve the test automation framework capabilities to enhance test coverage. Review automation code authored by team members to maintain code quality best practices. Participate in, and organize regression and acceptance testing activities, ensuring thorough evaluation and validation of release builds for acceptance sign‑off. Investigate and replicate issues reported by customers to ensure prompt resolution. Provide technical assistance to our customer success team, aiding in problem‑solving and issue resolution as needed. Take ownership of creating and evolving QA and test automation processes. After 1 Month Onboarded and introduced to the engineering and product teams. Familiar with Delivra’s products and services. Reviewed current QA processes. Tested first tickets manually. Wrote first automation test. After 2 Months Understood all products and services and how customers use them. Worked with wider engineering team to improve and refine the automation framework. Started planning automation across Delivra’s portfolio using the newly created framework. Assisted with the testing of at least one release. After 3 Months Architecting, building and maintaining test automation frameworks as part of the wider automation plan. Possessed all knowledge to investigate and answer any technical questions related to the products. Confident signing off on new features and functionality, supporting those releases with accompanying end‑to‑end automation testing. Actively removing reliance on manual testing and future‑proofing software by building out automation suite. Benefits Highly competitive salary. Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Over 3 years of solid experience as an automation test specialist or software developer, specializing in web applications. Proficiency in programming languages such as JS/Typescript, C# or other .NET languages. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Expertise in API testing and test automation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a detail‑oriented, self‑starting, problem‑solving mindset. Nice‑to‑Haves Experience in performance testing tools. Experience in penetration testing for identifying security vulnerabilities. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git/TFS) in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS). Experience with ESPs (Email Service Providers).
