The role involves assessing financial performance and assisting with planning processes. The Financial Analyst will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support overall business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesTurn Data into Insights: Dig deep into financial and operational performance to identify trends, variances, and anomalies to provide actionable insights. Connect the dots between business activity and financial outcomes.Elevate Reporting: Prepare financial, sales and other business reports and dashboards for management and other stakeholders. Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and align with business objectives. Recommend improvements in how data is presented & consumed.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor performance against budget and forecast and provide variance analysis.Data Management: Collect, organize, and interpret financial data from various sources. Work hands on with large and disparate data sets. Ensure data accuracy and consistency.Financial Modeling: Assist in ad hoc financial modelling. Utilize models to evaluate financial scenarios and outcomes.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Sales & Marketing, Operations, Accounting & Finance, to gather relevant data and provide financial insights that support cross‑functional initiatives.Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist with internal and external audits as needed.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis. Streamline workflows and increase efficiency.Accounting: Assist Controller in various accounting functions including creating journal entries for month‑end close and/or reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
