Our Marketing Director will be recognized as the Marketing expert within Laurentide and will be responsible for:
  • Energizing and inspiring others to strive for excellence and commit to our purpose – To Help Industry Thrive in Eastern Canada.
  • In line with Laurentide’s brand and profitability targets, establishing the marketing goals and objectives, and identifying the strategies, approaches, methods, messages, and initiatives for achieving them.
  • Creating and driving multi-channel digital marketing strategies to deliver a best-in-class experience for existing and prospective customers.
  • Establishing and maintaining the customer/client’s value perception of the brand, product/service/offering and organization.
  • Engaging with the Emerson Impact Partners Network Marketing Leadership Team to share and leverage best practices to maximize the Network and our own benefits.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Leading the Marketing Strategy:
  • Identifies, develops, and implements the optimal marketing model to support the needs of each Industry and sales channel. Positions the organization to deal with broad emerging trends and issues. Creates new ideas, solutions or approaches to ongoing challenges.
  • Establishes an integrated marketing communication strategy aligned with Laurentide’s business strategy (brand, channels, products, solutions). Identifies and leverages marketing communication synergies partners and outside organizations.
  • Manages the marketing operations, including the development and distribution of all marketing collateral and content. Allocates and controls material and financial resources within scope of integrated strategies.
  • Engages with sales teams in our customer centric account development process. Ensures alignment between sales and marketing strategies and approaches.
  • Develops integrated promotional planning processes, across all channels and categories of business.
  • Seeks, builds, and fosters partnerships and alliances that further the organization's objectives. Sponsors initiatives that bring together diverse talents to address broad-ranging issues.
Ensuring Productivity, Efficiency, and Team Development:
  • Creates a welcoming environment that encourages different perspectives and new ideas, building a culture of curiosity, openness, and creativity across the organization and the wider community.
  • Builds, leads, develops, and coaches a marketing team capable of carrying out necessary marketing strategies, processes, and initiatives. Leads the team to develop and extend industry mastery and application expertise and ensures that our performance standards are met and/or exceeded.
  • Initiates cohesion and alignment between all stakeholders to execute Laurentide’s strategic marketing plan.
  • Makes certain that all sales team members have access to sales enablement tools aligned with achieving our purpose, strategies, and objectives. Ensures development, coaching, and adherence to our CRM across all sales teams.
  • Intervenes, as necessary, to assist others to address or resolve issues surrounding partner relationships. Supports staff in taking calculated risks in partner relationships, and how to make them effective.
Digital Marketing:
  • Leads all aspects of digital marketing including SEO/SEM, affiliate, display re-targeting and acquisition, email marketing and content marketing.
  • Creates processes to ensure that digital capabilities and marketing program target, convert and retain goals and budget commitments are met.
  • Researches, evaluates, and develops digital strategies, programs and tools in line with Laurentide’s branding and sales strategies.
  • Measures and reports performance of all digital channels, tools, and marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI).
  • Enables and empowers others on digital strategies and tools that can be used to improve communication and collaboration.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
  • Degree in Marketing;
  • 5 years’ experience in managing a Marketing team;
  • Excellent language abilities (reading, writing, speaking) in both French and English;
  • Ability to develop long-term strategies that align with the overall business objectives;
  • Talent to inspire, motivate, communicate, and guide teams with passion to execute marketing strategies effectively;
  • Capacity to foster collaboration, provide direction, and empower people to achieve their goals;
  • Possesses strong research and analytical skills to gather and interpret data about target markets, consumer behavior, and industry trends;
  • Understands the importance of brand identity and skilled at developing and maintaining a strong brand presence;
  • Capacity to drive revenue growth and maximize return on investment (ROI) from marketing initiatives;
  • Strong knowledge of various marketing tools and software (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Enterprise Marketing Software, Google AdWords, Raiser's Edge NXT, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce CRM).
