The Solution Sales Executive has an in‑depth understanding of Ricoh’s Office Technology and Office Services portfolio and is responsible for driving new market share as well as retaining and expanding sales revenue in an assigned account base. The role requires a dedicated, responsible, conscientious and sociable individual who can develop strong partnerships with customers. Duties and Responsibilities Protect existing account base and increase revenue and profitability within the account. Lead the development of ongoing account plans in collaboration with team members, aligning with marketing strategy and client business objectives. Maintain sustained sales activities across all accounts. Prospect deeply within competitive accounts, providing Ricoh Canada services and solutions. Engage in new‑business prospecting and development: cold‑calling, scheduling and conducting client introductions, face‑to‑face or video meetings, and preparing presentations, demonstrations, proposals and value propositions. Drive pending orders and lease upgrades, developing action plans to progress each cycle. Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit expectations. Utilize Salesforce.com to update account information daily, record activities, and capture competitive intelligence. Maintain knowledge of Managed Document Services (MDS) value proposition, software, managed services and all equipment models. Present Ricoh’s IT and Communication Services to potential clients alone or collaboratively with sales specialists. Attend training and workshops to increase product knowledge and stay current on company products, services and pricing, as well as competitor offerings. Build relationships with current and prospective customers using Ricoh’s 3D Sales Approach. Commit to ongoing professional development. Requirements Education & Experience College diploma or university degree. Minimum 3‑5 years of direct B2B sales experience; industry selling experience is preferred. Skills Strong negotiating skills with the ability to turn around objections and overcome business obstacles. Excellent relationship‑building skills; able to nurture ongoing connections with clients and their needs. Organizational and project management skills with a high level of self‑motivation to drive results. Analytical skills for preparing business proposals and effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Proficient with Salesforce.com, social media sales tools and MS Office.
