Location: Toronto, Ontario

The Vice President, Business Strategy is a leadership position collaborating closely with company leadership. The position holds the responsibility of identifying critical business expansion opportunities within the client’s full eco-system. The position nurtures relationships with key, executive client stakeholders and develops new relationships to broaden touchpoints. This role will influence and guide business strategy ideation and establish methodologies for how to use insights to improve their client operations.

- Collaborate with and guide multiple disciplines (e.g, data science, tech, design) to deliver powerful integrated work and solve complex, undefined problems.
- Develop strategic pathways with executive leadership that structure, guide and lead client operations across business lines.
- Lead the day-to-day progress of a project team(s) and maintain a high bar for quality of work.
- Create sellable products/services and help define value proposition (i.e., unique selling features, branding, etc.)
- Conduct analysis to understand the client’s customers, industry, and competitors.
- Identify opportunities, form hypotheses, craft solutions, and present recommendations to executive band clients.
- Support the client’s implementation of recommendations/solutions to ensure value is realized while managing competing priorities, deliverables, and timelines to exceed client expectations.

Must Have Skills:

- Business strategy and/or business development experience within a management consultancy practice or corporate strategy focus.
- Prior experience in analyzing client operations and making business recommendations that will help shape and enhance improvement in revenue, business operations, customer marketing and brand storytelling.
- Demonstrated ability to design business optimization plans that scope multiple lines of business.
- Ability to work with complex data insights and generate hypotheses to test strategic ideation.
- Structured thinker with the ability to rapidly drive to insights and implications.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a high degree of attention to detail and the capacity to take initiative in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to travel throughout the USA and Canada for client meetings as necessary.
