Collaborate with internal product development teams and external automotive customers to ensure coordinated functional safety compliance and alignment with project goals. Evaluate customer requirements pertaining to quality, functional safety, and automotive reliability, providing expert guidance and actionable feedback. Partner with the Functional Safety and product development teams on project/task planning, progress tracking, and regular reporting. Design and implement automation scripts to streamline and enhance automotive safety analyses processes. Lead and participate in quality and functional safety reviews, generating comprehensive reports and recommendations for continuous improvement. Continuously improve and update functional safety methods, templates, and best practices to align with evolving standards and customer needs. The Impact You Will Have: Ensure Synopsys Automotive IPs meet and exceed ISO 26262 and related safety and reliability standards, enhancing product trust and marketability. Accelerate the integration of advanced safety features into customer SoCs, enabling faster time‑to‑market with reduced risk. Drive continuous improvement in safety compliance processes, resulting in higher quality deliverables. Support the development of innovative, differentiated automotive IP solutions that power next‑generation vehicles and smart mobility systems. Foster a culture of safety and quality across global teams, elevating Synopsys’ reputation as a leader in automotive IP safety. Enable customers to confidently deploy Synopsys IP in safety‑critical applications, contributing to safer roads and smarter transportation ecosystems. What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 5+ years, or Master’s degree (MSEE) with 3+ years of relevant experience. Formal training and demonstrated expertise in ISO 26262 functional safety standards. Hands‑on experience with semiconductor development flows and digital design at the IP/SoC level. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective collaboration and documentation. Proven track record in qualifying systems with embedded hardware/software to various ISO 26262 ASIL levels, including ASIL D. Experience with ISO 26262 part 5, hardware description languages, AEC Q100, ISO 9001, or IATF 16949 is advantageous.
