The hourly wage for this position starts at $18.60 and is established in accordance with the collective agreement. Depending on a candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, and prior experience, a higher hourly wage may be offered. If you enjoy working with food, take pride in craftsmanship, and love helping people, this is the perfect opportunity for you What You’ll Do Prepare, cut, and merchandise meat products to meet Metro’s quality standards. Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation practices. Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers and assist with their meat selections. Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting team goals. Qualifications Prior meat cutting experience is required. Meat product knowledge and merchandising experience considered an asset. Customer service driven. Strong communication skills. Able to stand for prolonged periods. Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends.
