Director of Finance

The Director, Finance will coordinate the development of a realistic budget that, to the extent possible within existing resources, satisfies program needs. The Director will also train program managers to understand their budgets, effectively monitor spending, and develop realistic financial forecasts for year-end spending. Overseeing the development of sustainable budgets for all program areas, the Director will work closely with the Executive Director Corporate Services to complete an ongoing analysis of historical expenditure patterns; coordinate the development of a sustainable budget that is adequate for program needs within the resources available; compile all budgets within a prescribed format and submit them to the Department of Finance within the departmental deadlines. The Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing all contribution policies and managing contracts across the organization, including managing the central tending of projects and the advertising of requests for proposals.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting
- CPA designation
- Strong communication and analytical skills
