This role will be responsible for working exclusively with our advisors within the WFG distribution channel in British Columbia with potential territory expansion.You will:Work closely with your Managing Director (MD) to develop annual sales plans consistent with regional WFG sales plan for life and critical illness productsAssist advisors by designing solutions through training for a variety of concepts for Life productsMaintain advisor contact on an established or regular basisDevelop and follow a territory management regimeInitiate, develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal business partnersAttend WFG related events throughout the yearConsiderable travel will be required, mostly within the prescribed territoryBe prepared to do weekend and evening training seminarsEnsure sales conduct is beyond reproachNetworking within the WFG branch offices to grow advisor base through identification of new prospectsWork closely with Inside Sales Associates to ensure distributor and advisor sales and support needs are metDocument all sales activity and expenses in SalesforceDevelop and maintain industry knowledge and awareness of the needs of middle market advisorsOngoing self-education and improvement through selected education programs and publicationsTravel throughout the British Columbia region is required, and incumbent must be able to develop an ‘appropriate’ work/life balanceWhat We Are Looking ForA university graduate or equivalent work experienceIntegral knowledge of the Canadian life insurance industryA minimum 5+ year’s industry experience in the Individual Insurance Products industry with strength in the universal life marketplaceProven ability to seek and identify new business opportunities with a focus on the middle marketProven ability to build on existing businessProven ability to develop and build on relationships with advisorsHaving sound knowledge of middle market competitionAbility to anticipate needs and challenges of targeted advisors and understand full scope of their individual businessesYou have excellent communication and presentation skillsSound compliance managementWhat's In It For YouAt ivari, it's important for us to keep our people motivated, recognized, and rewarded.
