Our objective is to generate attractive, long-term risk-adjusted returns for the benefit of our clients and shareholders.The Senior Analyst, Treasury will join the Brookfield Wealth Solutions Finance team and will report into the Director, Treasury. The Senior Analyst will actively support BWS’ global treasury operations, cash management, liquidity and capital planning, and foreign exchange management. The successful candidate will manage key timelines, produce timely and accurate deliverables and will demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including the broader BWS finance and operations teams, portfolio company treasury teams and contacts at various financial institutions.Responsibilities :Execution of day-to-day treasury operation activities including administration, along with liquidity management for corporate entities.Core contact for daily operational requirements, settlements, investigative requests, and larger funds flows with operating companies.Bank account monitoring and reconciliation.Format and execute daily wires / transfers and fund flows.Credit Facility maintenance : drawdowns and repayments, calculation of interest and standby fees.Proactively identify potential issues and propose solutions to assist the team with seamless operations.Ensure all documentation / backup and treasury management systems are complete and updated at all times.Prepare weekly liquidity flash and forecast reports to senior management, highlighting key variances and notable items.Management of debt, including monthly / quarterly covenant compliance reporting, monitoring of debt maturities and interest payments and preparation of debt forecasts.Prepare quarterly financial risk management materials for senior management and the Board.Support the extension and upsize of credit facilities by preparing materials for financial institutions and coordinating legal documents.Develop and maintain positive relationships with financial institutions, internal and external stakeholders.Facilitate consistent, streamlined and sometimes ad-hoc reporting, dashboards and analysis to support sound decision making.Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency within the Treasury Operations processes, assist with their implementation and contribute to ad hoc projects.Support the financial reporting team in the preparation of quarterly and annual materials related to debt, liquidity, and financial commitments and assist with related SOX / audit testing.Perform ad-hoc analyses upon request to support diverse business requirements.Qualifications & Requirements :A university degree in business, finance or a related field.Working towards CPA or CFA designation.2-4 years of work experience in a finance and / or accounting function.Experience in a treasury-related function with a bank or financial institution is an asset.High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Experience using or configuring a treasury management system is an asset.Demonstrated ability to own and improve processes.Strong communication and collaborative skills, written and oral.Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to operate independently.Organizational skills to effectively manage priorities, multi-task where necessary, work well under pressure and meet timelines and the ability to deal professionally with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Judgment, critical thinking and analytical skills combined with attention to detail and thoroughness, with the ability to assess complex situations and make effective recommendations.Interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative relationships at all levels in the organization.Team-oriented with a commitment to shared success above personal accomplishment or recognition.High degree of professional ethics and integrity.Brookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.
