Product Designer

Design new standard and customized products.Evaluate and respect established budgets.Follow quality procedures related to product design and engineering.Select materials and components according to applications.Promote a high level of quality within the department.Maintain standard documents.Participate in product testing and installation for assigned projects when required.Provide technical support to other departments.Document projects according to department procedures.Maintain a problem-solving attitude.Education + Experience RequiredBachelor's degree in industrial design or any other program/experience deemed relevant.5 years of relevant product design experience.Experience in the lighting industry (or related industry) will be considered an important asset.Qualifications + Skills RequiredProficiency in Solidworks.Be bilingual, French and English, spoken and written.
