Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently seeking aMaintenance Supervisor -Fixed Plant to join ourGlencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.
The position will be based in Onaping, Ontario.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Duties and Accountabilities:
Reporting to the Maintenance General Foreman- Fixed Plant, the successful candidate must be a strong leader who will model our core values in the workplace. The Maintenance Supervisor - Fixed Plant is responsible for ensuring that the maintenance management systems are used appropriately to support the site maintenance within budget. The position also ensures that plans and programs are implemented to improve maintenance effectiveness on a continuous basis.

Your personal commitment to health, safety, training, and continuous improvement will be the key to your success in this role.
Education
The ideal candidate is an active member within the site maintenance team and requires a background in maintenance trades.
Skills
The position requires substantial technical and operating maintenance competencies on fixed infrastructure and equipment. The ideal candidate will be familiar and have some knowledge of working on the shaft. The position also requires strong leadership and communication skills.
