Channel Marketing Assistant

one-year contract
position with the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic marketing team in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (written and verbal) is required.
This position requires
working on-site five days a week.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the execution of short-term marketing initiatives and administrative tasks to support overall marketing objectives. Address customer inquiries and concerns through email and phone communications. Provide sales team support, including preparing presentations, organizing samples, developing marketing collateral (sell sheets, point-of-purchase materials, recipe books, and promotional content), and coordinating in-store activities. Assist with bilingual communication (English and Chinese) for internal and external correspondence, including document translation. Maintain and update marketing databases, ensuring accuracy in catalogs, legal documentation, competitive research, and customer files. Oversee marketing fulfillment tasks, including direct mail campaigns, packaging distribution, and sales material management. Support content creation and editing for newsletters, advertisements, labels, and catalogs. Facilitate communication between the marketing team and external partners, including PR firms, designers, and social media agencies. Assist in coordinating packaging design, artwork development, and consumer-facing materials with external vendors. Liaise with vendors and global partners for sourcing promotional materials. Participate in trade shows, product demonstrations, promotional activities, and community engagement events. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure website updates and digital content remain current. Perform additional duties as needed to support the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or in progress). A minimum of one year of relevant experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Digital Innovation, and Production. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Highly organized, quick learner, and comfortable in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment.
Language Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (written and verbal) is required.
Mathematical & Technical Skills: Ability to apply basic mathematical principles, including percentages, ratios, and proportions, to business-related tasks.
