**JOB SUMMARY**

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our growing and passionate team located at our head office and fulfillment center in Scarborough, Markham and Steeles. This position is for you if you thrive and flourish in a creative environment with an emphasis on sustainability and modern productivity. Since 2006, Bio Seaweed Gel has been pushing the boundaries of the industry norms as one of the earliest advocates for healthier nail care. We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support our values of inclusion, self-care, community building and uphold our branding. Join us in this journey and take pride in working alongside our CMO on social media to marketing campaigns to special events.

The Marketing Assistant will assist with marketing campaigns by coordinating creative assets, collecting audience feedback, analyzing data and creating graphs, charts, and slides to present to decision-makers, and conducting market research to understand the target audience.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assisting in the brainstorming and development of the marketing calendar
- Supporting the marketing campaigns and strategy
- Researching market trends and competitor analysis
- Coordinating campaigns, promotions, and marketing materials
- Liaising with departments and team members to achieve project deadlines
- Supporting launch and management of new products and services,
- Coordinating campaign post-mortems and data collection to produce data analysis, reports and KPI tracking
- Coordinating the creation of marketing materials while upholding brand standards; including copy writing
- Assisting with the production of marketing materials and collateral
- Coordinating with the graphic design and photography team
- Liaising between our clients and the consumers
- Support CMO and other duties as needed

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary education in marketing or equivalent is preferred
- 1-3 years of experience as a marketing assistant, project coordinator, or equivalent is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with MailChimp, Planoly, Canva and Meta Business Suite are an asset
- Basic project management skills are an asset
- Experience in the retail, cosmetic and/or beauty industry is an asset
- Creative, resourceful, and eager to deliver high-quality solutions
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated who can collaborate effectively in team settings
- Up-to-date with all major social media platforms
- Thrive on detailed-oriented work and have a keen eye for design and layout

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
