**Role name: System Administrator / L2 Production Support**
**Location: Toronto - Hybrid**
**Duration: Long Term contract**
**Expereince Level: 6+yrs**
Have proficiency in Linux and Windows Server operations, commands.
Experienced in Major Incidents (MIs) and P1, P2, some P3 and P4 incidents, service requests and sending out management updates.
Have strong analytical skill to analyse risks and foresee production issues through various monitoring tool and published reports. Proactively look for hardware, software, and environmental alerts or malfunctions.
Able to participates in 24/7 on-call rotation and project work during night shifts and/or weekends as required.
Experience with Splunk queries and monitoring performance data in Dynatrace Support the efforts for ongoing Dynatrace and Splunk onboarding/implementation, including setting up custom dashboards, alerts,and reports.
**Knowledge & Skills**:
7+ years relevant experience
Proficiency in written & verbal communication skill
Comfortable with working in a rapidly changing, technically complex environment.
Proficiency with MS office product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
Thorough knowledge with OS technologies (Windows, Linux)
Working knowledge of Distributed Server environments
Working knowledge of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
Working experience with monitoring and log analysis tools such as Dynatrace, Netcool suite, Tivoli, Sensu, Splunk amongothers.
Thorough knowledge of middleware technologies (JBoss, WebSphere, NodeJS) and web server technologies (IHS, Tomcat, IIS,Apache)
Strong automation skills with proficiency in script languages (Bash/shell scripting, Perl, Python, PowerShell)
Knowledge of Public Cloud Platform Azure.
