The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team and take charge of managing the messaging and positioning across our key suite of tools. You will play a critical role in defining and executing product marketing campaigns, ensuring the successful launch and promotion of our core products, and contributing to the overall success of our marketing efforts.

You’ll also partner with Product Management, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to understand the needs of our customers and craft our product narrative, in order to develop and execute bringing multiple core products to market. Your Impact
  • Product Launch, Upsell, and Cross-Sell: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to plan and execute successful product campaigns. Drive go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Sales Collateral Development: Create persuasive sales collateral, such as presentations, sales sheets, and battle cards, to support the sales team in their efforts to win new customers and drive revenue growth.
  • Social Proof: Gather and showcase compelling customer success stories through case studies and testimonials. Use these stories to build credibility and demonstrate the real-world impact of our products.
  • Product Bundling Strategy: Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for product bundles. Develop strategies to package and promote our products effectively, driving upsells and cross-sells.
  • Focused Campaigns: Lead the planning and execution of targeted marketing campaigns to promote specific products or address niche markets. Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize campaign performance and measure results.
  • Content Creation: Partner with the content studio to create compelling marketing content to distribute across various channels, including email, social media, and ads.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing competitive research to understand market dynamics, identify opportunities, and stay ahead of industry trends. Use insights to refine positioning and messaging strategies.
Your Qualifications
  • Proven experience: 4+ years of product marketing experience in successfully launching and promoting multiple products in ecommerce and/or fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • Prioritization & Project Management: You're adept at juggling multiple tasks, setting priorities, and managing your time effectively. You don’t need guidance on structuring your day and you can effectively assess and shuffle priorities on the fly.
  • Communication: You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including attention to detail, to effectively convey complex concepts and ideas in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. You are a champion at creating clear briefs for stakeholders and executors.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: You can empathize with customers, conduct customer research, and use insights to tailor messaging and positioning that resonates with the target audience.
  • Analytical Mindset: You possess strong analytical skills, showcasing your ability to interpret data to derive meaningful insights and drive data-driven decisions that optimize marketing strategies and product performance.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You're skilled at identifying potential obstacles and finding effective solutions quickly. You understand the most powerful thing you can do to drive solutions is to deeply understand the problem. You are innovative and push boundaries when it comes to finding the best solution - you don’t just stick to the obvious or the “tried and true” strategies.
  • Adaptability: You thrive in unstructured environments and can quickly adapt to changes. You're comfortable introducing structure where needed and can navigate the complexity of a startup with ease. You don’t cling to process for the sake of process – you understand that process is a tool to be used alongside many others to be maximally effective.
  • Stakeholder Management: You excel at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring everyone is kept informed and engaged. You can work with anyone and you can quickly and effectively assess what is important to any given stakeholder, and how to influence across reporting lines to ensure everyone is working in parallel to achieve the outcomes needed for the business.
