We are currently assisting an Automotive manufacturer fill a Maintenance Supervisor role. This position will lead a group of techniaicans mostly working on Waste water and solutions for e-coat line.

Location - Cambridge, ON

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to, the supervision of all chemical related processes.
  • The Solutions Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that all chemical processes are operating within established parameters, ensuring that accurate and timely reports and documentation are maintained.
  • Lead the Waste Treat operators and Solutions Maintenance Technicians to achieve and maintain high standards in safety, environmental, quality, production, customer service and housekeeping.
  • Responsible for creation, implementation, maintenance, communication and training of the chemical and environmental policies and procedures within e2z Coatings and Services.
  • Implement KPI for coatings department in conjunction with the Production Manager and Production Supervision.
  • Implement preventative maintenance plan and schedule, maintain it and work towards a predictive maintenance plan" for both the ecoat system and the waste water treatment system
  • Schedules maintenance resources required to ensure an uninterrupted performance of Waste Water Treatment, Zinc Plating and E-coat processes.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Ideally have 5 or more years of experience working on paint lines, e-coat lines or paint process.
  • Working knowledge of customer shipping requirements, inventory controls, production scheduling, engineering systems / procedures and plant raw materials.
