Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance. Manage computer assets end‑to‑end, including preparation and shipping of computers and peripherals for both onsite and remote users. Maintain inventory of all peripherals, software installations, and licenses. Manage licenses and access for corporate applications and services; audit as requested. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and system updates. Perform root cause analysis to identify recurring technical problems and develop solutions. Assist with network issues, including LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN. Collaborate with IT team members on projects, upgrades, and implementations. Maintain accurate ticketing records using the company’s system. Provide remote support and troubleshooting for users working from home or onsite. Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and best practices. Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance. Perform any other related tasks as needed. Qualifications A diploma or degree in computer science, engineering, networking, infrastructure, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 1–2 years of experience in a help desk/desktop support or similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems. Experience with Active Directory, group policies, and user account management. Familiarity with remote desktop tools and support software. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Professional telephone/email etiquette. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be flexible concerning working hours and business needs. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician are a plus. Bilingual French knowledge is an asset.
