Snr Maintenance and Repair Technician (SMRT) As a Maintenance and Repair Technician (SMRT), you will be at the forefront of maintaining and improving the efficiency of our cutting‑edge distribution facilities. You will lead a team of skilled technicians in ensuring the smooth operation of our material handling equipment, including conveyors and robotic components. Responsibilities Lead, manage, and train teams of technicians. Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, such as conveyors. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems. Install and configure photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers and encoders. Provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs. Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks and suggest potential improvements. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in maintenance (mechanical and electrical) on equipment. 1+ year of experience in leading and managing a team within the last 2 years. Experience with automated conveyor systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems. Experience in performing preventative maintenance tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of St. Thomas, ON. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
