About the role

We are looking for a Seasonal Production Lead - Assembly & Packaging to join our Warehouse team


The Seasonal Production Lead - Assembly & Packaging is responsible for ensuring the on-time production and assembly of kits, ensuring our kits are produced rapidly and accurately. This role is responsible for providing guidance and instruction to the Assembly & Packaging team. As well as monitoring the performance of the staff on the team based on the established KPIs, the quality of the kits produced and the accuracy of the work method employed in regard with the HACCP and SQF standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Assembly & Packaging department’s day-to-day workflow and assigns tasks;
  • Ensure the on-time production and assembly of kits on their assigned line to the established quality standards;
  • Follow project instructions to closely ensure correct components are used;
  • Perform tasks in a timely manner to meet and exceed department standards;
  • Verify the quality of finished products;
  • Ensure HACCP and SQF programs are implemented, maintained, and updated;
  • Ensure compliance to all CFIA/ HACCP/ Organic standards for the assigned project/ line;
  • Although this role does not directly manage employees, it is accountable for processes, quality, and productivity of their assigned projects and assembly lines;
  • Coach, support, train and provide instruction to team members, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of requirements and expectations;
  • Measure and report team performance based on established KPIs, update team with metrics, and drive productivity improvements;
  • Promptly raise concerns and/or issues to manager in a timely manner;
  • Identify and communicate ways to improve productivity and efficiency;
  • Work proactively to prevent any potential line shutdown;
  • Champion a Health & Safety mindset within their project team;
  • Complete other duties or responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a production lead role;
  • High school education completed;
  • Experience working in a warehouse in assembly and packaging;
  • Team player that promotes a positive work environment;
  • Communicate in a professional, effective and respectful manner;
  • Knowledge of standards: HACCP, SQF, GFSI;
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proactive and problem solving skills;
  • Great attention to detail and methodic;
  • Strong work ethic and dependable;
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un Chef de production saisonnier – Assemblage et emballage pour rejoindre notre équipe de l’entrepôt


Le Chef de production saisonnier - Assemblage et emballage est responsable d'assurer la production et l'assemblage des kits à temps, garantissant ainsi que nos kits sont produits rapidement et avec précision. Ce rôle est chargé de fournir des conseils et des instructions à l’équipe d’assemblage et d’emballage. En plus de surveiller la performance du personnel de l'équipe en fonction des KPI établis, la qualité des kits produits et l'exactitude de la méthode de travail employée en regard des normes HACCP et SQF.

Responsabilités

  • Superviser le flux de travail quotidien du département d'assemblage et d'emballage et attribuer les tâches ;
  • Assurer la production et l'assemblage à temps des kits sur la ligne qui leur est assignée selon les normes de qualité établies ;
  • Suivre les instructions du projet pour garantir de près que les bons composants sont utilisés ;
  • Effectuer les tâches en temps opportun pour respecter et dépasser les normes du département ;
  • Vérifier la qualité des produits finis;
  • Veiller à ce que les programmes HACCP et SQF soient mis en œuvre, maintenus et mis à jour ;
  • Assurer la conformité à toutes les normes ACIA/HACCP/Biologique pour le projet/ligne assigné ;
  • Bien que ce rôle ne gère pas directement les employés, il est responsable des processus, de la qualité et de la productivité des projets et des chaînes d'assemblage qui leur sont assignés ;
  • Encadrer, soutenir, former et fournir des instructions aux membres de l'équipe, en s'assurant qu'ils comprennent clairement les exigences et les attentes ;
  • Mesurer et rendre compte des performances de l'équipe en fonction des KPI établis, mettre à jour l'équipe avec les mesures et améliorer la productivité ;
  • Soulever rapidement vos préoccupations et/ou problèmes au gestionnaire en temps opportun ;
  • Identifier et communiquer les moyens d'améliorer la productivité et l'efficacité ;
  • Travailler de manière proactive pour éviter tout arrêt potentiel de ligne ;
  • Promouvoir un état d'esprit en matière de santé et de sécurité au sein de leur équipe de projet ;
  • Effectuer d'autres tâches ou responsabilités assignées par le superviseur immédiat.
