The shift pattern for this post is 12 hour shifts day/night rotations and weekend working. You need to have a live NMC UK pin in order to be considered for this post. We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Charge Nurse to join our enthusiastic, forward thinking team within Ward 5B Diabetes/Endocrine within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.ResponsibilitiesAs part of this team you will have responsibility for assessment, delivery and supervision of all care needs within the ward environment. You will possess sound clinical skills for the assessment of patient\'s needs, implementation and evaluation of care which are evidence based.You will have the ability to work to high clinical standards in this fast paced environment. You are required to be flexible, forward thinking and able to work effectively within a changing and dynamic environment.A fundamental part of the role is to participate in communications as part of the Multidisciplinary team to enhance the patient journey.
