Stafingo is currently hiring an Intermediate Administrative Assistant for a professional federal government client in Ottawa. This is a full-time, onsite contract role supporting a senior leadership team during a period of organizational growth.
Administrative Assistant(Intermediate)
Contract Details:11 months
Hours: Full-time
The successful candidate will provide administrative and staffing support to a senior management team within a complex government organization. Provide general office and administrative support
Maintain accurate records within personnel and information management systems
Support senior staff with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
Minimum 12 months of relevant administrative experience
At least 2 years (within the last 5 years) using Microsoft Office Suite
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
Valid Secret Security Clearance (issued by PSPC)
Ability to work full-time onsite in Ottawa
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Assets / Right-Fit Considerations
The following will be considered strong assets:
Additional administrative experience in a federal government department
Knowledge of government staffing, personnel, or information management processes
Experience supporting senior executives or management teams
Familiarity with government policies, procedures, and governance environments
