What we are looking for The Senior Product Analyst is a key functional expert responsible for the detailed, hands-on execution and advancement of product initiatives within the Emerging Payment Products portfolio. This role ensures the product vision for emerging payments translates into tangible deliverables. The focus is dual: taking on product ownership responsibilities for the Real-time Rail, including capability enhancement and use case expansion, and actively exploring and evaluating emerging payment concepts that have the potential to transform the payments ecosystem while meeting stakeholder needs. This role requires a high degree of self-direction, strong ownership, and the ability to operate independently to drive initiatives forward. This is a temporary position for a 12-month term. A day in the life Responsibilities for this role will include: Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management – Ownership of parts of the Real-Time Rail product portfolio and exploration of emerging payment concepts, translating high-level vision into tangible deliverables. Discovery and Analysis – Lead pre-discovery and discovery phases by conducting market research and data analysis to define value propositions, product roadmaps, and release plans. Delivery and Execution – Actively manage the full product lifecycle from concept through to execution and capability enhancement. Business Analysis and User Experience Design – Translate objectives into detailed requirements, functional specifications, and user journey flows. Collaboration and UX Review – Work with engineering and operations to review designs, provide UX feedback, and troubleshoot issues. Data-driven Insights – Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform product direction and improve outcomes. Stakeholder Collaboration – Act as a consultative expert bridging internal teams (Risk, Ops, Delivery) and external stakeholders (Regulators, Vendors, Members) for alignment. Governance and Mentorship – Establish and refine product management processes, manage risks and documentation, and mentor junior team members. Decision Facilitation – Coordinate working sessions with peers and senior management, collaborate with vendors, and present complex information effectively. You will really stand out with Payments knowledge is a significant asset You will need to be successful Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics or related discipline Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of work experience in product management, business analysis, or project management, preferably in the financial services environment Demonstrated, hands-on experience working within or adjacent to the payments ecosystem Strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate a wide range of input and structure solutions for novel matters Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven experience presenting effectively across all levels of an organization Experience with product management and delivery tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence) Ability to develop user journey flows and write comprehensive descriptions of requirements Business acumen related to the Financial Services and payments industry High degree of self-direction and familiarity with management/committee processes Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Eligibility to successfully complete background checks (criminal, credit, identity, employment, and education checks) Salary and application Salary range: Based on qualifications and experience: $88,500 to $118,000 Please submit your application by January 27, 2026 What’s in it for you?
