Responsibilities: 

  • Support new business development initiatives and work closely with internal/external teams to ensure the progression of projects and execution of tasks 
  • Monitor all aspects of projects by measuring progress and correcting course, and ensure projects remain on time by managing schedule and resources and removing barriers through interdepartmental communications
  • Develop and maintain a project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones
  • Assign and monitor resources effectively to boost project efficiency and maximize deliverables output 
  • Report project risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalate issues according to the project work plan 
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required
  • Conduct secondary research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to support strategic initiatives
  • Maintain and update databases and ensure data integrity and accuracy. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to support their data needs


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field
  • 2-3 year’s relevant work experience in project management and/or business development, or a similar field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding interpersonal skills desired
  • Strong analytical skills with capacities to summarize and visualize information or data, proficiency in data analytic tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI an asset
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
