A successful Desjardins Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Administrator - Desjardins Agent Team Member. We seek an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Marketing Support: Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Office Administration: Ensure office processes are followed and establish new ones.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training in the office and assist new employees.
  • Financial Services: Work with Agency financial services manager on training.
  • Scheduling: Develop work schedules.
  • HR Support: Distribute HR policies.
  • Banking Services: Take care of banking needs of the agency.
  • Office Communication: Distribute office activities daily to all staff.
  • Performance Reviews: Assist in reviews of team members quarterly.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Successful Track Record: Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in problem-solving.
  • Customer Service: Dedicated to customer service.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task.
  • License: Property & Casualty license - must have a current license.
