Advanced Excel skills with data management in Microsoft Excel. Strong problem solving, communication and negotiation skills. Experience in advanced features of QuickBooks Online. Experience in ADP system for payroll is an added advantage. Full cycle accounting experience. Excellent collaboration, verbal, and written communication skills. Highly organized with an eye for detail and accuracy. Able to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and well‑thought‑out conclusions. Reliable work ethic with a pleasant attitude. Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills. CPA accounting designation as an asset. Job Responsibilities Ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting records. Overseeing the accounts payable function. Preparing and sending the monthly billing to clients. Managing human resources and payroll functions including bi‑weekly payroll, onboarding new employees, processing terminations as per regulations, and managing employee benefits. Managing finance and administrative processes of the construction management software. Presenting monthly cash flow forecast and operational results to senior management. Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual tax and regulatory returns at both provincial and federal levels. Overseeing the monthly project budget preparation process. Producing ad‑hoc reports required by project managers and senior management. Managing procurement for the office. Liaising with the external accountant for review engagement and annual income tax filing. Coordinating IT needs and communicating with the external IT service provider.
