Occupational Therapist – Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus (2025-2578) Join to apply for the Occupational Therapist – Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus (2025-2578) role at Closing the Gap Healthcare. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (Adults) who can bring an integrated approach to therapy services in clients’ homes and schools across the Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge region. Current or part‑time positions are available with flexible hours and self‑scheduling that allows you to adjust your workload to fit your availability. What You Will Be Doing Change your clients’ lives in the comfort of their homes by assessing and building accurate therapy care plans based on the real environment of each client. Develop health promotion programs, prescribe equipment and supplies, and promote client safety. Apply creativity and critical thinking to provide complex preventive or corrective actions for a diverse range of clients. Partner with family members, caregivers and other health professionals regarding treatment goals and service plans. Use a hybrid model of care, including face‑to‑face and virtual sessions, to build a schedule that works for you and your client. Operate as an independent and flexible OT while receiving dedicated support, mentorship, and a training system with a stable multidisciplinary team. Skills Needed for Success Graduate of a recognized post‑secondary program in Occupational Therapy. Current active registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Experience in pediatric and/or adult care. Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
