Vortex – Talent Strategy & Recruitment is actively seeking a Human Resources and Labor Relations business partner for its client, a large international company with over 130,000 employees worldwide. The hired candidate may be based in Calgary or Vancouver. Job Summary We are looking for an HR Business partner who will provide strategic direction, coaching, and development to the operations leadership team and oversee labor relations within Western Canada regions. Your Role and Responsibilities Support and guide regional management teams on overall HR best practices; Participate in labor relations committees; Supervise the Regional HR Advisor and recruiters; Responsible for producing metric reports (KPIs); Actively contribute to improving the efficiency of HR practices to help achieve the company’s strategic goals; Launch and support HR initiatives for the region; Coordinate with other HR managers to provide standardized HR solutions and practices; Participate in collective agreement negotiations; Requirements Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or any other related field; Minimum of 5 years of experience in labor relations within a large unionized organization; Member of a professional HR order; Strong leadership, coaching, and guidance skills; Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; Energetic, enthusiastic, with a positive and winning attitude; Excellent communicator and builder of influential relationships; Diplomatic approach; Knowledge of federal labor legislation; A true team player with a strong awareness of organizational needs; Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Full-time Job Function Human Resources Industries Security and Investigations #J-18808-Ljbffr
