OverviewGlobal Industrial has been an industry leader providing private label and brand name industrial equipment and supplies to businesses throughout North America.We carry over one million industrial, material handling and business products that are sold through our website, corporate sales people and full color catalogs. We are constantly increasing our product offerings to meet the diverse and changing needs of our customers. Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America.ResponsibilitiesConduct pricing analysis across product lines to identify margin improvement opportunities.Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support data-driven pricing decisions.Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to refine pricing strategies.Collaborate with product management and sales to set pricing for new products and promotions.Monitor pricing effectiveness and recommend adjustments to achieve revenue and profitability targets.Provide insights into price elasticity, competitive positioning, and product performance.Work with sales and customer support teams to understand pricing challenges and develop solutions.Ensure compliance with pricing policies and guidelines.Competencies and skillsBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in pricing analysis or similar roles.Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, AI/machine learning applications, and pricing software.Familiarity with ERP systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to communicate pricing strategies and insights effectively across teams.Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.Strong aptitude in teamworking, data-driven decision-making, and innovation.EEO/AA StatementGlobal Industrial provides equal employment opportunities to all employee and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absences, compensation and training. #J-18808-Ljbffr
