The Lead Pricing Analyst is responsible for the evaluation, development and implementation of pricing& packaging strategies based on current business and competitive environment. In this role you will conduct research and perform competitive pricing& packaging analysis and trends designed to support pricing information decisions. You will work in conjunction with product management, product marketing, sales and finance functions to set prices& packages, test pricing strategies, and determine go-to-market pricing& packaging on new product launches.
**You Are Great At**:

- Operating as an integral part of the OpenText pricing team; engaging with product management and product marketing to develop and deliver creative, competitive, compelling and compliant pricing proposals.
- Working directly with the Pricing Operations and Proposal Managers to find multiple ways to effectively address problems and implement those which add the greatest value.
- Coordinating pricing activity, including gathering requirements, generating reports on pricing and sales data, running financial models and presenting outputs, internal pricing communications, and managing contributing stakeholders where applicable.
- Working on data analytics to review, analyze, and synthesize insights on pricing data to act as feedback on pricing& packaging optimization.
- Gathering, analyzing and responding to guidance and feedback.
- Communicating well and taking direction easily.

**What It Takes**:

- 5+ years’ experience in finance and/or pricing analysis, with experience in the enterprise software industry preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally in a global organization.
- Strong analytics, problem solving and financial skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- demonstrate attention to detail, ability to learn quickly (including ability to self-learn), and excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Microsoft Excel experience at an advanced level and Power BI experience.
- Salesforce and/or SAP experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with OpenText and its products is desirable.
