Outdoor Sales Representative (Light Duty Truck Parts)Compensation - $70k - $100/annually (Based on exp.)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct truck parts sales through face-to-face interactions with both potential & existing customers in a B2B environment.
- Travel within sales territory to meet prospects & customers, conduct outbound calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily.
- Ensure collection of payments from customers through constant touch base and liaise with account receivables team for regular follow-up.
- Build & maintain relationships with new & existing customers, maintain record of all potential sales leads & customer accounts.
- Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand customer specific needs.
- Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities, provide timely market intel feedback to management.
- Work closely with warehouse & procurement team on new product/part demand & price position in market.
- Work closely with the marketing department to help build the brand.
Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in sales & marketing, or business administration, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Extensive truck parts industry-related sales (3+ years) or management experience is strongly preferred (e.g., Truck parts, tires, lube, fuel, batteries, etc.)
- Experience calling on transportation customers with heavy-duty tractor truck fleets or other vocational truck fleets.
- Self-sufficient with Microsoft Office tools, and experience using CRM software. Experience with AS400 would be an added asset, (but not mandatory).
- Bilingual (English & French) would be a valuable (but not essential) asset.
- Valid G-License for travel and day to day commute.
