The Mortgage Underwriter is an evolving role – it is never a dull moment around here Responsibilities Analyze and decide mortgage applications within established lending criteria. Communicate and liaise with all parties (internal and external) involved in the completion of each mortgage transaction. Continually monitor and accurately maintain the mortgage application queue. Ensure broker expectations and timelines are met. Manage execution of the mortgage commitment including focus on resolving any outstanding conditions prior to funding. Review client documentation and mortgage conditions. Skills Requested You enjoy building relationships, using your integrity, candor, and professionalism to win anyone over. You can use Microsoft Office Suite effortlessly. Exceptionally organized and meticulous. Fluent in verbal and written English. 3‑5 years of mortgage underwriting experience. Only candidates who meet the above qualifications will be contacted. Salary and Benefits Salary: $70,000.00‑90,000.00 per year (depending on qualifications), plus yearly bonus based on KPIs.
