Program Manager / Delivery Lead As a Program Manager / Delivery Lead, you will serve as the primary Solutions Delivery contact for stakeholders, accountable for developing, leading, and overseeing delivery teams. We are seeking individuals with a strong developer background and deep technical knowledge in cloud‑native development, DevOps, and .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with exceptional leadership and project management skills to deliver high‑quality software solutions in a fast‑paced environment. You will oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring outcome‑based delivery while maintaining high performance and reliability standards. Role Title: Program Manager / Delivery Lead Location: Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite in Oakville, ON Technical Note: This is not a hands‑on coding role, but candidates must possess a strong development background to perform code reviews and provide technical guidance. Contact: Andy Wettlaufer – andy.wettlaufer@randstadigital.com Responsibilities Champion Product‑Centric Delivery: Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of software products, transitioning from a project‑based mindset to a dynamic, product‑focused approach. Technical Leadership: Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to identify optimal technical solutions, define implementation methods, and set realistic schedules for timely product launches. Modernize Platforms: Define and execute strategies to minimize technical debt and lead the transition from legacy systems to modern, efficient technology platforms, leveraging cloud‑native architectures. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Coordinate efforts across engineering teams, product managers, UX designers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver impactful, user‑centric solutions. Cloud‑Native Adoption: Drive the adoption of cutting‑edge cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure, utilizing services like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, and Azure DevOps. Team Leadership & Development: Lead a high‑performing team of software and QA engineers (indirectly initially), providing mentorship, conducting performance reviews, and supporting individual career growth. Strategic Planning: Evaluate costs, resources, and system impacts for software releases, while proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation plans. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing initiative updates, and communicating progress, risks, and key decisions effectively. Global Collaboration: Partner with in‑house and offshore development teams to craft solution designs, provide accurate estimates, enforce compliance with standards, and ensure high‑quality implementations. Customer‑Centric Culture: Instill a strong customer‑first mindset within delivery teams, fostering a culture of user‑centered design and deepening business relationships. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in end‑to‑end technical project delivery, deep knowledge of developer practices, and a minimum of 3 years managing cross‑functional teams. IT Experience (Total): 10-12+ years Development Background: 5-10+ years (Required for technical guidance/code reviews) .NET: 5-10+ years Software Engineering / Technical Project Delivery: 5+ years Managing Cross‑Functional Engineering Teams: 3+ years Cloud Platform Expertise (Azure): 3-5+ years Azure DevOps: 3-5+ years Docker/Kubernetes: 2-4+ years Cloud‑Native Architectures & Legacy Transitions: 2-3+ years of hands‑on experience Agile (Frameworks): 5+ years Risk and Issue Management: 5+ years Budgeting, Financial, and Scope Management: 4+ years Business Relationship Management: 3-5+ years Education: Bachelor’s Degree (3-4+ years) in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Experience in a Small to Midsize Company (3-5+ years) Product Company Experience (3-5+ years) Managing Offshore Teams (1+ years) The candidate will be expected to perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to the team. A proven track record of delivering complex software solutions in high‑paced, collaborative environments is essential. The role requires proficiency in modern cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure (Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure DevOps).
