Job Purpose As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a vital role in raising public awareness about fostering and supporting the recruitment and assessment of foster parents. Your work will directly contribute to giving children a safe, nurturing home and a brighter future. Job Responsibilities Marketing & Outreach Be the first point of contact for public enquiries about the Fostering Scheme and Boys’ Town’s services. Manage and grow our social media presence through thoughtful content planning, scheduling, and community engagement. Design and produce impactful marketing materials that tell the story of fostering and inspire action. Support the planning and execution of outreach events that connect with potential foster parents. Track and report on marketing performance to help us grow our reach and impact. Administrative Support Assist in processing foster parent applications and coordinating assessment documentation. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all assessment-related records. Monitor marketing-related expenses and support budget tracking. Organisational Contribute to Boys’ Town’s fundraising events and initiatives. Work closely with colleagues across departments to support our shared mission. Take on additional duties as needed to support the wellbeing of our clients and the smooth running of our services. Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills with a flair for creating engaging content. Proficiency in social media management and design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Confidence in handling documentation and preparing reports. Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative spirit and a heart for service. A genuine passion for supporting children and families in need. Qualifications and Experience Requirements Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome – we value passion and purpose. Prior experience in marketing, communications, or admin support is a plus, especially in the social service sector.
